| Where? Raritan Valley YMCA 144 Tices Lane East Brunswick, NJ When? Thurs/Fri, November 8th & 9th 9:00am-3:00pm Child must attend the training everyday to be certified. Cost? $50.00; Price includes a ARC handbook, ARC certification and materials for a babysitter’s “bag of tricks.” |

| This training provides individuals ages 12-16, with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism; basic care; safety and safe play; and first aid. | ||
Participants will become proficient in basic care and basic first aid including holding; feeding, diapering, and dressing as well as recognizing signals for breathing, choking and bleeding emergencies. Successful completion of the required sessions will be recognized with American Red Cross certification. Please bring a snack and lunch to the training. |
