The members of the Volunteer Board of Directors of the YMCA, along with other interested YMCA members and friends that constitute the YMCA Planning Committee, have been working on plans for a capital project that will provide our members and surrounding communities with a newly constructed Raritan Valley YMCA Family Program Center. Phase 1A of the new facility opened for child care and programs on March 6th, 2006. Phase 1B, including the state-of-the-art fitness center and permanent administrative offices opened on August 1st, 2006. Our new Y will include an aquatics center and full size gymnasium when Phase 2 of the capital project is complete.
