Preschool Enrichment Programs for Children ages 2 1/2-5
Program is designed to stimulate children’s creativity and physical abilities, develop social skills and begin the parent-child separation process. Activities include circle time, class lesson, music, art and physical education. |

Music Together:(ages birth to 5 years) Class Times: Mondays 9:15-10:00 and 10:15-11:00, Thursdays and Fridays 9:15-10:00, 10:15-11:00, 11:15-12:00 Call (609) 924-7801 x308/302 to register.
My Newborn and Me: Bring your newborn (up to 10 months at the start of the class) and join other new moms to socialize, trade ideas and simply get out of the house with your child. Refreshments will be served and guest speakers will join us.
Morning Playtime: Preschoolers and their parents or caretaker, can play with a variety of toys and equipment in our gym. This activity provides a great opportunity to play with your child and connect with other parents. Ages 9 months to 5 years.
Messy Art: Children will enjoy expressing their creativity by using paint, glue, water, and other fun stuff. Use all the messy stuff at the YMCA. We spend 30 minutes creating and the last 15 minutes socializing and connecting. Ages 2-6 years.
Adventures in Nature: This class offers a variety of hands on activities and loads of outdoor fun to bring nature alive. Learn all you want to know about birds, plants, animals and the environment through exploration and self-discovery. Ages 3-5 and 6-12 years.
Rock N Games: Agility, flexibility and muscle movement gear toward the preschooler. Improve communication, build strong cooperative and social skills, interact with other children, also networking for parents all through interactive games, hands on activities. Ages 3-5 years.
Book, Craft, and Play: Story time with a twist. Enjoy a story, create a craft and play with friends. A fun interactive way for parents and children to spend quality time together and with their peers. Ages 2-5 years.
2 Year Old Drop n Go: The perfect developmental play program for 2 year olds and a great chance for parents to get a little time to catch up on all those things that they just don’t get to. |

Parent –Child Sports Classes Parent must participate actively with child as YMCA instructor leads them both through basic skills & drills of the sport selected. Learning the fundamental movement of sport brings success later. Fun for all! Ages 3-5 years.
All Sports ages 3 1/2-5 yrs Children develop or improve skills in games such as soccer, floor hockey, football, basketball, kickball and a variety of other games. Children will have fun while learning the structure and rules of games.
Tumbling & Movement Children will learn basic tumbling, practice loco motor movements and be engaged in activities with hoops, balls, and bean bags that improve coordination, agility and physical skills.
Parent/Tot Gym Parent or care giver move through a variety of stations with the child. Stations include the use of mats, balls, hoops, bean bags, movement, coordination and fun!
Creative Arts & Movement With music, YMCA staff will teach children basic loco motor movement (hopping, skipping, jumping, etc) and instill fun and exercise into each session. A simple art project will compliment each class.
Swim Lessons Basic skills are taught that are the building blocks of swimming. Pool safety and the use of personal flotation devices are also taught. All classes are instructed by caring, trained YMCA instructors. Class participants are divided into skill levels and class size is such that the instructor can provide proper instruction. Lessons are held at Cook College.
Yoga Preschool children will learn exercises that promote strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation to mind and body while having fun. |
